Professor Dr. med. dent. Peter
Rechmann, DMD, PhD arbeitet an der University of California, San Francisco, in
der Abteilung für Präventive und Restaurative Zahnheilkunde. Er ist der
Direktor der Forschungsgruppe für Klinische Wissenschaften. Er ist seid mehr
als 30 Jahren in klinischer Forschung tätig. Seine klinische Forschung umfasst
Karies Prävention, Applikation neuer Mundhygiene Produkte, Anwendung verschiedene
Laser und lichtbasierte diagnostischer Geräte sowie neue Applikationssyteme für
die Karies Prävention. Seid mehr als 30 Jahren betreibt er Labor und klinische
Forschung mit Lasern in der Zahnheilkunde. In Zusammenarbeit mit der California
Dental Association hat er kürzlich in der San Franzisco Bay Area ein Praxis
Basiertes Forschungsnetzwerk aufgebaut (PBRN). Professor Rechmanns Forschung wird
erfolgreich durch Industrie Mittel finanziert. Er hat mehr als 130
wissenschaftliche Artikel und Buchkapitel publiziert.
Peter Rechmann, DMD, PhD, Prof. Dr. med.
dent., is at the University of California, San Francisco, Department of
Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences. He is currently the Director of the
Clinical Sciences Research Group. He has been involved in clinical research for
more than 30 years. His clinical research relates to caries prevention
including the application of new oral care products, multiple laser/light-based
diagnostic tools and new delivery systems for caries prevention. He has also been involved in laboratory and
clinical research dealing with lasers in dentistry for more than 30 years. In
collaboration with the California Dental Association he recently established a
Practice Based Research Network in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Rechmann is
successfully funded by Industry Grants, and has published over 130 papers and
book chapters.
