Professor Rossi‑Fedele has an extensive academic and clinical background, with more than 150 peer‑reviewed publications spanning clinical endodontics, laboratory research and systematic reviews. His work has played a major role in shaping education and standards within the specialty: he is the lead author of the 2020 revised guidelines for endodontic specialist training and a contributor to the 2021 guidelines for undergraduate endodontic education across Australia and New Zealand. 

A respected global collaborator, Professor Rossi‑Fedele was one of the 32 international experts involved in developing the European Society of Endodontology’s S3‑level clinical practice guidelines, contributing to evidence‑based standards for managing pulpal and apical disease. In addition to his academic role, he works clinically as a Senior Dental Specialist in Endodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.
