Thomas Kvist was born in 1959 in Borås, Sweden. He received his DDS in 1983. Subsequently he worked in private practice in Sweden and in Italy. He completed specialization in endodontics in 1993 and received his PhD in 2001. Dr. Kvist is currently head of the Endodontic Clinic and senior lecturer at the Department of Endodontology, Institute of Odontology, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Thomas Kvist has published several papers in peer reviewed journals on topics related to decision making and clinical outcome in endodontics. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Endodontic Journal.
